Our staff of library professionals have a philosophy of facilitating student learning by keeping abreast of the changing learning environment and tuning in to the needs of our school community.
Our students as ‘digital natives' have access to quality resources that appeal to their preferred methods of learning, putting us at the leading edge of school libraries.

Computer network of 45 computers integrated with the school network enables students to access resources for anywhere they have Internet access, inside or outside the school.
The library has a rich collection of both traditional and electronic resources accessible from both inside and outside the school. These include:
Amlib library catalogue
ANZ Reference Library
World History, Science and Literature Reference Centres
Research guides, recommended reading lists and other materials to support the learning journey.
Programs
Year 7 students commence with a Library and Network Orientation Program. This is a student's first contact with the library that continues throughout their life at the college. Orientation is also available to students who enrol in year levels other than Year 7.
Heart of the school
The Haenen Library is very much at the heart of the school from a range of perspectives: curriculum, technical and pastoral.
It is a place where students are encouraged to feel a sense of belonging and ownership while maintaining the right of every student to experience a quality learning environment.
