Basking in Sunshine

Despite less-than-sunny weather, we have observed quite a bit of ‘sunshine’ this week. So many in our Sunraysia community have chosen to shine their light. 

One of the best examples comes from right here at the college. This week, our Hospitality Coordinator, Louise McGlashan, contacted Sunraysia Community Health Services to offer catering support for the staff at the COVID-19 testing sites in Mildura. Louise and her talented team, Sally-Anne Fishwick and Julie Leddin, prepared and coordinated the delivery of lunches to the staff at the testing sites this week. Thank you, Louise, for leading this fantastic initiative. 

We are blessed at St Joseph’s College to have a very committed and talented group of staff. Each of them often goes above and beyond to ensure our young people receive the best education and care.

In life, we endure the tougher times by being kind towards ourselves and reaching out to give and, importantly, to receive support. Good times lie ahead. Let’s all keep looking for ways to light up the lives of those around us.
