As 2021 comes to a close, I find myself feeling both proud and grateful.

Proud of our students, especially the Classes of 2021 and 2022, because they have shown such admirable dedication to their studies and inspiring enthusiasm towards participating in school activities this year.

Proud of the entire college staff – teachers and support staff alike – because everyone has worked so diligently to deliver excellent educational experiences across remote and face-to-face learning when many factors were beyond their control.

Grateful for the families of our students and staff. Thank you for supporting and encouraging us throughout the year. We cannot do without you.

Grateful to the Sunraysia community for giving St Joseph’s College a home for 115 years. We celebrated the Year of Service in 2021, doing what we could, when we could. We hope to serve the families of Mildura for many more years.

There’s still quite a bit going on at the college, and you can read our latest Community newsletter to find out more.

Like everyone, I feel excited for some rest and time with my family over the summer holidays. May you enjoy the merriest of Christmases and a 2022 full of times with your loved ones.

God Bless

Mrs Marg Blythman
