School Wellbeing Officer

St Joseph’s College has an opportunity for an energetic, vibrant and motivated person to join our dynamic Wellbeing Team.

This role requires someone with an excellent knowledge of current issues relating to young people, including educational opportunities, common risk factors and the ability to engage young people who have experienced trauma. The successful candidate will have the ability to form genuine relationships with students and support them to flourish and reach their full potential.

If you have a background in Youth Work, Social Work or Mental Health we would love to hear from you.

A current Working with Children’s Check and having met the mandatory State Government COVID-19 Vaccination requirements are essential.

Classroom Teacher

Calling for expressions of interest from energetic, qualified educators with a passion for helping students reach their full potential.

We would love to hear from graduate or more seasoned educators for current teaching opportunities at the college.

All methodologies welcome with particular interest in English, Psychology, Dance and Religious Education.

Successful applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children. In addition to holding a current VIT Registration, anyone working at a Victorian school must meet the mandatory State Government COVID-19 Vaccination requirements.

Retail Manager – Uniform Shop (part-time)

The Retail Manager – Uniform Shop is expected to support the College community in regard to maintaining uniform standards.  The successful applicant will be committed to a culture of focusing on exceeding customers’ expectations with respect to quality, service and consistency.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and must have a current Working with Children’s Check as well as having met the mandatory State Government COVID-19 Vaccination requirements.

VET Trainer in Beauty

The college invites qualified educators to undertake the position of VET Trainer in Beauty. This part time position (3 days per week) is based at the Riverside Trade Training Centre of the college and will be responsible for delivering the VET Beauty subjects for both internal and external students to the college.

The successful applicant must demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children. In addition to holding a current VIT Registration (or a willingness to obtain Permission to Teach via VIT), anyone working at a Victorian school must meet the mandatory State Government COVID-19 Vaccination requirements.

School Cleaner

The appearance of the college’s buildings and grounds is of the utmost importance visually, as well as maintaining the highest standards of hygiene throughout to ensure a safe environment for the college community.

As such, the college is looking for two competent, physically fit and hardworking cleaners to join our existing team.

These are full-time ongoing positions for the preferred applicants. Conditions include four weeks of paid holidays and generous leave entitlements.

These roles are based on a split shift roster.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and must have a current Working with Children’s Check as well as having met the mandatory State Government COVID-19 Vaccination requirements.
