Learning Diversity
Our Learning Diversity Team works with students, parents and teachers to enrich and enable students who are supported through Government funding, or experiencing difficulties accessing the curriculum through support programs. Parents and teachers refer students to Catholic Education Support services for educational screeners and assessments. Through collaboration between teachers and parents decisions are arrived as to the most successful pathway for providing educational support to referred students.
The College has implemented the ‘Redcat’ hearing support system in four classrooms. This system supports the needs of hearing impaired students, but also provides voice clarity for clear audio of the teacher’s voice for all students.
Any queries please speak to the Head of Learning Diversity Ms Melanie Saleta at msaleta@sjcmda.vic.edu.au or phone the College on 5018 8000.
